In July 2007, the first Children’s Food Festival prompted a project in conjunction with the Speedwell and WellBeing Trust called ‘Eat A Rainbow Everyday’. This is based on helping children to understand the benefits that the colours of fruits and vegetables offer. Using a story book, a refrigerator chart and stickers, it helps children keep track of the number and colours of fruits and vegetables they eat everyday. It is also being developed as project to go into schools.
