Your Consultation
When you make an appointment with your Naturopath you will be sent a patient health questionnaire which will cover previous and current medical conditions along with lifestyle and dietary habits. You will be asked to return this to your Naturopath in the SAE envelope provided along with a deposit of £35.00 prior to the date of your appointment.
When you arrive at the clinic you will be met by your Naturopath practitioner and invited in for a consultation about how best to approach your specific health issues.
Your treatment will include any of the following from ‘the naturopathic tool kit’.
Therapeutic Diets- Organic whole seasonal foods, blood sugar and body typing diets
Lifestyle advice- Exercise
Homeopathic and Flower remedies
Nutritional Supplements- Vitamins, Minerals Essential Fatty Acids Herbs
Hydrotherapy, the topical use of water, poultices and compresses
This may also include- muscle testing, Iridology, tongue, pulse, blood pressure, laboratory tests, if indicated.
Standard medical and structural assessments follow a discussion about how best we approach your specific health issues.
A Health report may be compiled in certain cases to highlight treatment recommendations.
How many appointments will I need?
In most cases a follow-up appointment is recommended, at each appointment you and your practitioner will discuss how you are progressing towards your goal.
In some instances a maintenance programme is requested by the client who is under increasing stress and in need of regular health assessments to maintain a balance, this can be seen as a ‘bridged approach’ to their health until they are able to readdress their lifestyle and make more long term changes.
